Students from our Junior Leadership team recently had the opportunity to meet with Lesley, a senior travel advisor at Warrington Borough Council, to discuss ways to improve traffic safety around our school.

In the weeks leading up to the meeting, our student leaders gathered feedback from across the school, consulting with form groups and year councils to ensure that the voices of all students were represented. This valuable insight formed the basis of the discussion with Lesley and her team.

During the meeting, the students presented their findings and shared thoughtful suggestions on how traffic safety could be enhanced. The proposals included practical ideas and innovative projects, demonstrating the students’ commitment to making a positive difference in their local community.

The meeting was described as extremely productive, with council representatives impressed by the students’ initiative, research, and collaborative approach. The Junior Leadership team left the discussion feeling inspired and motivated to continue working on these projects.

We look forward to sharing more updates in the near future as these exciting initiatives develop, highlighting the important role our students play in shaping a safer and more sustainable school environment.
