Our learning resource centre have all the tools and resources you will need to reinforce, enrich and develop your knowledge and skills.
We are very proud of our LRC, this is learning environment contains resources that have been specially selected by teachers and library staff to help you succeed in your studies. In addition there is a wide range of literature to extend your learning beyond the curriculum and encourage reading for pleasure. On arrival at the school, students are introduced to the dewey decimal system, research skills and how to use the facilities.
In the Learning Resource Centre you can find:

The LRC is open daily at break, lunchtime and after school until 3.30pm.
The LRC arrange Author visits and workshops, in the past we have had top authors Cathy Cassidy and Curtis Jobling and book artist Kate Bufton.
Students have the opportunity to train as Librarians and take part in projects such as the Reading Activitists.
