There are a large number of educational visits organised through the subject areas to develop students understanding and application of their academic studies and bring the subject to life. Trips and visits take place throughout the academic year at home and abroad. These trips include theatre trips, attendance at conferences, visits to Universities, the annual Oxbridge Admissions Conference, field trips, gallery visits, trade fairs, competitions, revision conferences, Industrial visits and annual ski trips. The modern languages department offer annual visits to support language learning and Music students have visited EuroDisney to perform on the main stage. We have successfully run exchange visits to our partner school in South Africa for a number of years and our students have also taken part in exchange visits to China. All students in year 7 are invited to take part in our very popular camp.
Many of these trips provide enrichment opportunities to our sixth form students who can apply to support the trip as as subject ambassador. All our trips are managed by the Educational Visit Co-ordinator and are only approved after a thorough risk assessment has been carried out. Residential visits are also subject to approval by the LA. Financial support is available for eligible students (please enquire)
